What i did: riding 167 km to Oldenburg in Lower Saxony yesterday and 195 km to Hennstedt in Schleswig-Holstein today.
What i saw: Germany! All the way totally flat HQ local roads and cycling path lined regional roads through the same kind of familiar German countryside scenery.
How I felt: at ease, very much! And hypnotised because of the lack of variation both regarding vistas but also speed - keeping a steady pace of about 29 km per hour and barely any breaks.
What I thought: not much, could I? Germany is not my ultimate cycling destination, though it's inseparably part of this story and of many other stories. It's part of the bigger picture and that's how it should be. I will be back here, with pleasure!
And now... I am on my way to Denmark!
