Holly Molly... I crossed Montenegro from north to south in a day, from the village of Vracenovici near the Bosnian border to the capital Podgorica, 174 km and again 2200 meter of elevation gain, including a 1400 meter climb from the Gulf of Kotor towards and through Montenegro's National Parc Lovcen.
It's impossible to compare countries, regions and sceneries and I don't take any place I am riding through for granted, but still... riding through Montenegro might beat everything else - it's simply insanely beautiful. Think Provence, mix it with Tuscany, add some Alps, and you might come close to how Montenegro looks like.
This journey drives me totally crazy. I keep on surprising myself as I created this journey for myself and so far everything turns out better than I could ever have dreamt of, I master the road, no matter what. Never stop climbing! Madness? I call it gladness!
Oh, I also uploaded yesterday's pictures, that seems already so long ago....
