Part II of the Road to Odessa is history and brought me another great memory! From Arlon to Lausanne, 580 km, one evening and three days on the road - a ride that had it all, everything I love about cycling. A sense of spring and a summer sun, nearly deserted french countryside roads in the Grand Est, fiercely blowing headwinds in Lorraine and smoothly winding downhills in Frenche-Comté, an endless amount of villages, rivers, canals, forests, fields and hills all way long and a simply great apotheosis on the last day, crossing Jura mountains up to 1500 meters with a last exhilirating 30 km down straight to the banks of Lake Leman - the Alps on the other side!
Here is the road I took so far, part III all the way from Lausanne to Odessa will be in June!
Last but not least: long live Warmshowers once again, big shout to Bouchard Family in Hettange, Christian in Ageville and Laurencot Family in Avanne, thank you all very much for being part of my journey!
